In the spring of 2006 Southridge Church was born.
We began in a strip mall near 72nd and Highway 370 with 30 people.
After a couple years we outgrew our strip mall location and began looking for a place that would fit us.
We landed at Twin Creek Cinema in the fall of 2008. We loved the cup holders! Along the way we were given the opportunity to purchase 49 acres of land for a potential future building site. That land includes Papio Greens Golf Course. Crazy! Early in 2014, Twin Creek Cinema went through a remodeling process which no longer met our needs for growth. We began meeting at Bellevue West High School for about an 8 month transitional period. As we searched for a more permanent location we found the perfect spot at 84th and Giles. We completely remodeled the old 14,000 square foot Sidepockets pool hall and transformed it into what is now Southridge Church. This is an exciting opportunity for us to continue to move forward as a church and we are eager to see what God is going to do through Southridge. It has been a blast to see the lives of people changed and impacted over the past 10 years, we have grown steadily to over 400 people, and are looking forward to what God has in store for us around the corner.
Currently - we are growing at such a rate that it's becoming clear: "God's heart for this church is bigger than what our current facility will hold." We have already had to build and create more space for our growing Kids Connect, rearrange and organize our Main Auditorium to fit more chairs, and more!
